Credits

Graduating High School:

The requirements are listed based on your year.  These are the LAUSD requirements.

 

Passing Grade Levels (Class of 2016):

Students will need to earn the credits listed below in order to promote to the  indicated grade level: 
• 10th grade 50 credits 
• 11th grade 105 credits 
• 12th grade 160 credits 
• Eligible for a high school diploma 210 credits

 

 

Passing Grade Levels (Class of 2017):

Students in this graduating class must earn a "C" or higher in Social Studies, English, Math, Science, World Languages, Visual & Performing Arts, and the College Prep Elective to receive credit. Students will need to earn the credits listed below in order to promote to the  indicated grade level: 
• 10th grade 50 credits 
• 11th grade 105 credits 
• 12th grade 160 credits 
• Eligible for a high school diploma 210 credits 

 

College (A-G Requirements):

A college degree is still considered the best way to help yourself.  This fact has consistently been true. For this reason, you should not want only LAUSD requirements.  You should meet "A-G Requirements". These are the suggested courses to take in order to prepare for college.
