Classroom Expectations
We expect students to attend classes always, be on time, prepared to do work, share their reading annotations and participate in group discussions. Students are responsible for checking their grades on Schoology on a regular basis.
Hello! My name is Mrs. Enriquez. I have been at Huntington Park High School for 6 years as an English Language Arts and English Language Development (ELD) teacher. Before joining the HP family I taught middle school for 8 years in the Los Angeles community area.
I graduated from California State University, Los Angeles (Cal-State L.A.) in 2004 with a Bachelor's Degree in English. I obtained my California teaching credential through the L.A.U.S.D.'s district intern program. I returned to Cal-State L.A. in 2010 to pursue my Master's Degree in Education with an emphasis in Reading. I also received my Reading Specialist Credential and California Reading Certificate.
I look forward to continuing to work with my students and instill in them a passion for reading and writing. It is my hope that my students become life-long learners that embrace education and contribute back to their community.
