Boys Basketball Coach Joe Reed

• Eastern League Basketball Coaches Representative for the CIF
• State CIF Los Angles basketball Representative
• Over 20 CIF Playoff Experiences
• 5 Eastern League Titles

 

Not only has the program produced numerous All CIF LA City players, Coach Reed players have extremely high admittance to College. 

As an athlete Coach Reed was a standout basketball player at HPHS, leading the South Eastern area of Los Angles in assists as a senior point guard.  Coach Reed played semi pro basketball and participated in the NBA Pro Am League, the Southern California Summer Pro League and the famous Drew League.  Coach Reed also coached a season of semi Professional basketball as well.

Coach Reed holds a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in education from Azusa Pacific University. He currently teaches Physical Education and Computer Science at HPHS
