Wellbeing Center
The Wellbeing Center (WBC) at Huntington Park High School is a confidential safe space for students only. Our partner is Planned Parenthood Los Angeles. We are located in Room 39 and offer a wide range of services to students.
For Students, the WBC offers:
- A confidential safe space and education on sexual and mental health, and substance use.
- A leadership opportunity by becoming a Peer Advocate, a source for other teens at HP High School.
- A de-stress station to work on mindfulness.
- Training on locating health resources and employment opportunities
The Planned Parenthood Clinic provides:
- Condoms
- Birth Control
- Emergency Contraceptives
- Menstrual Products
- Pregnancy Testing
- STI Testing & Treatment
- Wellness Visits
