PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Greetings Spartan Families!

A new school year is upon us. To say that there has been much work done over the summer in order to be prepared for this school year is an understatement. *I want to thank everyone that has made the opening possible. 

This year we will inaugurate our new state of the art gymnasium and athletics facilities. There is much work left to be done as part of the modernization project and the gym is the first of many new buildings that will eventually open on our campus. In addition to some of our existing signature programs like the STEAM Magnet, Visual & Performing Arts, Journalism, MESA, AVID, Debate, ACADECA, CTE Pathways (Culinary, Woodwork, & Digital Media), Clubs & Athletic Teams, college classes from ELAC and the University of Columbia in New York, we will now offer a NEW additional Computer Science college class from Stanford University and a NEW Computer Programming CTE Pathway.

New million dollar buildings, new lights, paint, Ivy League college classes, and new programs do not mean anything if students and their families do not take advantage of these great opportunities. Be present and on time every day. Have a plan. Give your best effort everyday. Have high expectations for yourself and put in the work.
